Equipment Technician II Location: US-OH-Harrison Email this job to a friend

1 Resource Group is seeking an experienced Equipment Technician II to join our clients team in the heavy equipment industry. As an Equipment Technician II, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing various types of construction equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Responsibilities - Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair construction equipment issues
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations and hydraulic fluid replacements
- Interact with customers and contractors in a professional and customer-oriented manner
- Keep equipment and work area clean and organized
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance services performed
- Operate and test equipment to identify malfunctions
- Schedule and perform routine maintenance on equipment as per standard procedures
Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Equipment Technician II or similar role in the construction industry
- High school diploma or GED equivalent. Technical school diploma or certificate is preferred
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues using electronic diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems of construction equipment
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Experience with welding and fabrication is preferred
- Must possess a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. CDL license is preferred.
