Required Skills and Experience:



• 3+ years of Escrow Officer experience (need to have experience working in TX)



• Experience with Purchase transactions



• Knowledge of legal documents with ability to analyze and evaluate documents as they relate to closings



• Software experience with Ramquest or Qualia strongly desired.



• Experience with Softpro, Resware, LandTech, or similar software will also be considered.



• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



• Professional communication skills with clients



• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.



• Deadline-driven.



• Resilient team player - we are a start up so ability to roll with the punches and adapt to change is key



 



What you need to know:



• The Escrow Officer will be responsible for processing escrow documents in accordance with established company policies and procedures and TDI regulations.



• This team member will as a neutral third-party between buyers and sellers during all real estate transactions, managing funds and processing all related transaction details.



• They will complete transactions by determining requirements; clearing titles; assembling, preparing, and reviewing all closing documents; disbursing related funds.



• Their duties are complex in nature; so they must demonstrate familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry.



• Experience in RamQuest preferred.



• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and focus on deadlines will determine your success in this role.



• Most importantly, this person will provide an incredible customer experience by being informative, responsive, patient, and friendly in all interactions.

Job Summary:

 



Looking for an accomplished, high performing Escrow Officer to join our team. This person is responsible for providing an impeccable experience to our customers and agents as it relates to the Title part of the Homeward process.



 



Responsibilities:



• The Escrow Officer will be responsible for processing escrow documents in accordance with established company policies and procedures and TDI regulations.

• Salary: 75K (salary+bonus)



 



Qualifications:



• 3+ years of Escrow Officer experience (need to have experience working in TX)



• Experience with Purchase transactions



• Knowledge of legal documents with ability to analyze and evaluate documents as they relate to closings

Location: Austin, TX



• This role will be based in person in our South Mopac office and may occasionally require weekend availability which would be considered overtime.
