We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the field of pipeline/facility construction, with a primary focus on pipelines, facilities, and general oilfield maintenance. As an Estimator/project manager, you will play a crucial role in accurately assessing project costs and developing competitive bids, ensuring the successful execution of our current, ongoing, and future projects.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive take-offs and material quantity calculations for a variety of midstream construction projects.

Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to accurately estimate costs, labor requirements, and project timelines.

Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses using company-provided software.

Develop and maintain a database of historical cost data to support accurate estimating.

Actively manage ongoing projects and maintain accurate invoicing, change management, and project finances for weekly/monthly reporting with upper management.

Work closely with the project manager and company owner to refine project scopes and budgets.

Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations to clarify project requirements and address inquiries.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and construction methodologies to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required. High school diploma required for all applicants.

Proven experience as an Estimator/Project Manager in midstream construction, with a focus on pipeline and facility construction.

Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and equipment.

Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.

Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision under tight deadlines.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
