Requirements

Estimator: This is where you come in.

Were looking for an Estimator to create project estimates that are completed accurately, thoroughly, and on time with all required deliverables. An estimator grows, and skillfully applies their knowledge of the applicable materials and methods, engineering principles, and construction process to create a narrative describing a projects total mechanical cost. This is a training position with a high level of exposure to the full life cycle of a commercial construction project. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

• Ensure that assigned estimates are completed accurately, thoroughly, and on-time with all required deliverables
• Develop a strong understanding of the means and methods by which projects are built, how the Mechanical and Plumbing systems fit within those projects, and the operations of the business supporting our construction activities
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration within both the department as well as the project teams

The Estimator role reports to one of our Estimating Managers, on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have

• A track record of critical thinking and problem solving, using sound judgement to make decisions
• Expertise in time management and organization
• Outstanding spatial reasoning and the ability to visualize / navigate three dimensional virtual environments.
• Solid technology skills, with a drive to learn new, challenging, cutting edge 3D modeling and data analytic software.

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field

Benefits

Compensation: $62,000 - $ 85,000 annually
