We are a well-established construction company specializing in commercial excavation and civil site work projects. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality results, we take pride in our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Construction Excavating Project Manager / Estimator.

Excavating Project Manager / Estimator Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive bids for commercial excavation projects, ensuring timely completion.
Conduct digital earthwork take-offs and utilize computer skills to analyze and estimate costs.
Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of civil site work, cut & fill operations, and underground utilities.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on all job sites.

Excavating Project Manager / Estimator Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial excavation, with a focus on civil site work.
Proven experience and knowledge of earthwork take-off systems and digital estimating tools.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with construction software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of cut & fill operations, underground utilities, and related industry standards.
Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate and competitive bids within specified timelines.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.
