PROCUREMENT

E4 to M2

• As the Executive FME2 (Civil Procurement Executive) you will be part of the Procurement and will report to the SH- Indirect procurement.
• The purpose of your role will be for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the procurement activities related to civil construction projects.
• He/she work closely with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods, services, and materials required for civil construction projects.
• He/she plays a vital role in ensuring that the procurement processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Procurement Planning: Collaborate with project teams to understand the procurement needs, develop procurement plans, and establish procurement timelines for civil construction projects;
• Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of quality goods, services, and materials at competitive prices;
• Bid Evaluation and Selection: Review and evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers, conduct price and quality comparisons, and recommend the selection of suitable suppliers based on project requirements and procurement policies;
• Contract Management: Prepare and review procurement contracts, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly defined and aligned with project objectives. Monitor contract performance, resolve any contractual disputes, and manage contract amendments or extensions as necessary;
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify and mitigate potential procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, or non-compliance issues
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Collaborate with project teams todevelop procurement budgets, track procurement expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or project objectives
• Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records. Generate regular reports on procurement activities, including expenditures, savings, and supplier performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in procurement operations, such as streamlining procedures, implementing digital tools, or optimizing supplier selection criteria. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in civil procurement.

• Coordination with various stakeholders Needs are different, Delivery of Projects as per commitment dates complex & challenging environment, Catering to un-planned requirement in exceptional cases
• Negotiations with multiple potential partners

• Diploma / BTECH in Civil Engg.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM) is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.

• Familiarity with civil construction materials, equipment, and services.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to analyze complex procurement requirements and make sound decisions.
