Tap 42 is a new trendy Restaurant and Bar located in Palm Beach Gardens Mall. We are looking to hire experienced cooks to add to our team who can learn quickly, are self motivated, and can work with efficiency and sense of urgency in a fast paced environment. Additionally, being able to follow directions, communicate, and deliver well prepared meals is important as you will be preparing dishes that will be delighting the guests with their presentation and timely delivery.

• -Saute
• -Grill
• -Fry
• -Pantry
• -Prep Cook

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient and smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Assist with catering events as needed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Experience working in a dietary department or similar environment
- Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen tools
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques
- Excellent cooking skills, including grilling, sauting, baking, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Note: Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 40 per week
