Veterinary Healthcare Associates is a multi-specialty referral, emergency, and general practice hospital whose mission is to help people by helping their pets stay healthy, happy, and healed. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Veterinary scribes work closely with our veterinarians and help improve quality of care by entering medical record data in real-time.

For over 30 years, VHA has proudly served the Central Florida community by delivering outstanding patient care and unmatched client service. Our practice offers a diverse and challenging caseload and the tools and equipment to manage them. We are a fast-growing, progressive, AAHA accredited hospital. With 16 doctors we offer emergency, specialty referral, regenerative and primary care services. Our mission is Helping People and Pets Become Healthy, Happy, and Healed

Requirements

Who you are:

Are you a compassionate team worker that pays attention to detail? We are looking for someone with a professional work ethic who is comfortable working in a fast pace environment. Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are a must.

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of technology
• Ability to type quickly and accurately (45 wpm)
• Ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred skills:

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Previous scribe experience
