The External Account Services Specialist serves to educate and support Medi-Share's program partners externally and internally. They support the member development (sales) functions of our Group Administrators and channel partners through a Christ-centered and honoring marketing and delivery of our programs and services to prospects and customers.



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities




  • Provide training and support to the Group Administrators and channel partners (sales) teams by facilitating inquiries, qualification, communications, and service

  • Serve partners affiliated with the sales of Medi-Share products and/or services

  • Provide technical support to external sales partners

  • Update, maintain, and report from the client service system of record

  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external prospects and clients

  • Attend and participate in department meetings

  • Assist external sales partners with the closing efforts in the sales process

  • Provide application support to group clients and internal/external clients

  • All other duties as assigned


Essential Skills & Abilities


  • Strong computer skills – ability to access, maintain, and effectively manage data in a customer service system (i.e. Salesforce)

  • Planning and Organizing – ability to work effectively without a high level of supervision

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to deliver effective results

  • Sales skill – ability to understand and participate in an effective sales process

  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

Education and/or Experience


  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1 year prior customer service and/or sales related experience required, prefer internal experience with Medi-Share sales or service

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
