Background:
This is an opportunity to work at a world famous, federally funded research & development organization with a great culture. They have a need of a FPGA Engineer is required to assist with the design, development and implementation of real-time multi-channel data acquisition, control and digital signal processing (DSP) systems. Key Points: - Title: FPGA Engineer
- Location: Lexington, MA (Greater Boston)
- Job Type: W2 Contract
Skills: Required - Experience with FPGA firmware development of signal processing algorithms, multichannel, high speed data acquisitions and digital receivers using radar systems.
- Experience with DSP algorithm development and optimization for FPGA hardware applications.
- Experience with control and digital algorithm development and optimization of FPGA hardware applications.
- Experience with radar, RF receiver and electronic warfare (EW) systems.
- High speed FPGA design for radar applications and SFP optical communications.
- General FPGA design flow experience.
- Experience with hardware and software design(link removed)>
- Xilinx and Mathworks experience.
- Experience with design, development and implementation of real time multi-channel data acquisition(link removed)>
- Experience with VHDL(link removed)>
Skills: Preferred - Knowledge of DDR3 interfaces, Aurora fiber optic interfaces.
- Experience in the areas of AGC, Aurora, Microblaze, Zync, soft microprocessor implementation.
Education : Bachelor's degree with 25 years of relevant work experience. Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
