Facilities Maintenance Technician

As a member of the Facilities Team, you will be a key part of maintaining our facilities in a professional manner that always upholds the highest quality standards to maintain a safe professional environment for our customers and employees.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine, high quality building maintenance on all bank facilities including our Nantucket and Washington DC offices. Must be capable of using basic troubleshooting skills to determine a resolution of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and other maintenance issues. You will be working directly with outside vendors and contractors to resolve issues as they arise. Duties will include snow removal, painting, plastering, minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, landscaping, HVAC repairs, cleaning, maintaining and delivering supplies and other duties as required. You are required to be on call as needed 24/7 and able to work flexible hours.
Requirements - General maintenance skills
- Valid drivers license and an excellent driving record
- Reliable Vehicle
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Computer skills; Google suite experience is a plus
- Minimum one year working in a trade or facilities role
- High school diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Heavy lifting: must be able to lift up to 50-pounds
- Ability to carry and work on ladders (up to a 24-foot ladder)
- Ability to operate a snow-blower, landscaping equipment, and a 2-wheel dolly
- Ability to shovel snow
