Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, assign and supervise work of the maintenance department.
- Demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal-setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
- Maintain facility equipment and preventative maintenance programs.
- Satisfy ongoing documentation of testing on security and fire systems.
- Oversee moderately complex planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
- Gather and review data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions and/or permit requirements, required completion dates, and construction feasibility.
- Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
- Obtain quotes and supply cost information on facility construction or improvement projects.
- Maintain supplier/contractor relationships.
- Coordinate a resource conservation program including energy use, water use, and waste generated from production.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (Engineering is preferred) is required.
- 5+ years of Facilities and Maintenance experience.
- 3+ years of leadership.
- Must come from a manufacturing environment… preferably industrial… Aerospace, Automotive, Machinery, Energy, etc.
