The Early Head Start Family Educator works with parents of infants and toddlers and pregnant women to enhance the development of children and families. The Family Educator is responsible to the Early Head Start Center Supervisor. The function of the Family Educator is to: (1) facilitate the development and implementation of Family Partnership Agreements and individual case management plans and activities; screening & assessments, home visits.
Education & Requirements
Minimum: Home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or Associates Degree or Bachelors degree in Human Services or Early Childhood Development or related field with the equivalent coursework to a Home Based CDA as a part of the degree program.
