Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Job Summary: A chain of urgent care centers is looking to immediately hire a full-time or part-time qualified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Albany, New York. This job is in a dynamic and professional environment in state-of-the-art facilities that include X-Ray, EKG, PFT, and more. Weekday shifts are 10-12 hours, while weekend shifts are 8-10 hours. The center's medical director is always available to train and support mid-level providers. The supporting staff performs admission and eligibility, triaging patients, injection, and phlebotomy work. Providers will have a complete report in the EMR before they examine the patients. The staff also sends medication to pharmacies and referral notes to specialists. Job Description: The FNPs report directly to the center's Medical Director and are primarily responsible for the provision of high-quality medical care to our urgent care and occupational medicine patients. Mid-Level Providers must also: - Actively manage all aspects of patient care while on shift,
- Supervise and direct the center's clinical staff,
- Ensure that all charts are accurately completed in a timely manner, and
- Adhere to all clinical policies and protocols.
Job Qualifications: - Active New York Medical License,
- Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner,
- A minimum of 3 years of urgent care experience such as injections, suturing, and abscesses drainage/removal, or willing to take courses before starting the job,
- Comfort and experience treating patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Spanish proficiency is preferred,
- Department of Transportation (DOT) certification is preferred,
- Familiarity with occupational medicine.
- Clean medical malpractice records,

- Willingness to mentor clinical staff,
- Highly professional appearance and attitude,
- Able to multi-task effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment; and
- High-energy with a positive attitude who is passionate about patient care.
