Position: Java Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: Long-term Contract

The Expertise We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field
• 6+ years' experience in software application design & development
• Desired skills: Java/J2EE, Spring/SpringBoot, Angular/AngularJS, REST Services, Cloud, deployment technologies, AWS
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of continuous integration, static code analysis, test automation and test-driven development

The Purpose of Your Role:

• Will be a senior member of a scrum team (made up of other software engineers, software quality engineers and systems analysts) responsible for delivering key customer features.
• We are looking for an engineer who is versatile, always eager to take on new problems, share solutions and mentor junior engineers as we push the technology forward
• Will work closely with the product owner, scrum master, systems analysts, architects, and other developers to design, build, test, and deliver the features that make up the the Institutional internet experience.
