Amazing opportunity for a Field Service Engineer, experienced in Industrial equipment!
Work for a 100+ year old company that designs industrial mixers and related industrial equipment.

Must have!
5 years of Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience, be able to detail!
5 years’ experience working in an industrial environment (requires strong mechanical skills)
Field Service Engineer background, is a huge plus.
Strong communication and relationship building skills – Client facing role
Likes to and able to travel – up to 80% (most likely across the US, minimal international travel in South America and Europe)
PLC, HMI, hydraulics, mechanics, worked in an industrial environment, pneumatics
Specific duties include:
• Commissions new equipment at the customer site. Ensures that the equipment has been properly installed for start-up
• Performs warranty and service calls to troubleshoot mechanical and equipment problems, and courtesy calls to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
• Develops and provides ideas to Engineering department to improve equipment design and eliminate recurring manufacturing and design flaws.
Detailed Requirements
5+ years' experience in an industrial environment with responsibility for industrial machine maintenance and commissioning
Experience and proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) programming (Allen Bradley and Siemens)
The ability to read PLC diagrams/schematics and troubleshoot such equipment
Able to read and interpret electrical schematics (interpreting mechanical drawings a big plus)
Knowledge of pneumatic principles
BS in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience in a foundry environment a big plus
Ideal locations are IL, IN or WI near a major airport
