About Our Company Montana Construction is a family owned and operated heavy construction business that specializes in all types of Sewers, Water, Bridge, and Emergency services for the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania Municipalities, Utility Authorities as well as private entities. Role We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer to support Project Managers and Superintendents with scheduling, verifying installation quantities, field quality inspections and as-built data drawings. Must be a self-starter and motivated to learn and grow knowledge. Support Project Managers and Superintendents with simultaneous tasks across multiple projects and clients. - Effectively communicate and partner with teammates and colleagues to successfully complete projects.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for various construction materials and activities.
- Create and update project schedules.
- Perform field verifications, inspections and measurements.
- Evaluate daily productions to accurately track project performance.
- Maintain and verify daily reports.
- Assist Superintendents with coordination of inventory and material deliveries.
- Learn to effectively communicate with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
Requirements - Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business.
- 1+ years of Construction Management experience or beginner knowledge of Construction Management is a plus.
- Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review
- Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
- Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen
