Are you passionate about writing creative emails and facilitating events and trade shows?

FMX is hiring a Field Marketing Intern to work closely with the Campaign and Field Marketing teams to optimize event performance. In this role, youll work closely with your teammates to create compelling pre and post-show emails, register for events, manage promotional materials, discover ways to improve performance, and even attend shows on FMXs behalf. Youll get to work with best-in-class software systems like Marketo and Salesforce, putting your resume at the top of the recruiters stacks. This position is for the Summer of 2023 and would require you to come into the FMX office 1-2 times each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify promotional material based on target audience for tradeshows, FMX-sponsored events, customer summits, prospect meetings, and more.
  • Assemble collateral bags based on sales territory and industry for events.
  • Monitor inventory of promotional materials and place orders when stock is running low.
  • Prepare and ship tradeshow booths and materials.
  • Assist with Material Handling for select events.
  • Manage shipping logistics between shows.
  • Register FMX to exhibit and sponsor tradeshows and industry conferences.
  • Register FMX employees to attend events.
  • Utilize Marketo to create and send event invites and follow-up communications.
  • Pull email data and create reports for the sales team regarding event communications.
  • Monitor and report on event RSVPs and attendee lists.
  • Monitor and assign attendees to each event in Asana.
  • Attend all territory/industry syncs.
  • Assist in running pre/post-show meetings.
  • Attend local tradeshows/forums as schedule allows.
  • Utilize Marketo and Salesforce to track lead status following events.

    The hiring process for this role:

Compensation:

  • $13-15/hr, based on experience
  • You can expect to work 10 hours a week
