Job Description

Your main focus will be on supporting our systems within MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Additionalproduct trainings may also be relevant in future to fulfill changes in our installed base in combination with our customer demands.

Server solutions and system communications are a growing part of our propositions, hence skills and interest for IT solution will be a merit. You will be working mostly in the customers environment in the North, Middle and East Part of the Netherlands where the main focus will be on systems and devices within MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging).


Your role:


Executing service activities such as regular Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), fault-finding, upgrades and modifications, according to the relevant Philips quality standard policies.

Install MR systems according to standards with respect to quality and installation time, including testing complex networks following stringent real time patient data requirements. (Mainly electronic, but also mechanical, hydraulic and IT interventions).

To have a holistic view of the system and its functional environment, with an eye for functions from both a technical and user (clinical) perspective.

Responsible for completeness and accuracy of service records with particular attention to test & verification results.

Timely and accurate submission of service data, job sheets, field problem reports and other relevant administrative tasks as assigned.

Escalate timely to our Western Europe service support organization.

Report customer feedback and follow-up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner.

Be a brand ambassador for Philips Health Systems and serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters.

Consignment duty and/or service duty outside office hours if applicable.

Engage in required product and quality trainings locally or abroad.


You will be a part of:

Our Service Delivery District North East NL, a Service Team of 14 highly competent Field Service Engineers. Your colleagues have different backgrounds and working on different modalities (CT,MR,IGT,US and Patient Monitoring). Themajority of this position is targeted geographically within the North, Middle and East part of the Netherlands. As a natural part of the Benelux organization travel outside main focus area sometimes will be required, consequently willingness to travel is necessary for this role.


You're the right fit if:


Relevant educational background within medical/electrical engineering or similar (i.e. MBO/HBO Elektrotechniek/Elektronica/werktuigbouwkunde, Medisch TechniekA and Medisch TechniekB or MRI related(technical) Courses.

Educated in biomedical engineer is a plus.

Experience within field service preferably within a hospital environment is a plus.

You are familiar with computer tools, office software and database management system.

Good at identifying and maintaining customer relationships and related contacts.

Independent and service-minded with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving.

Structured, organized mindset with a high level of personal integrity and self-discipline.

Fluent written and verbal in Dutch and English language is a must have.

Ability to participate in on-call rotation available to respond onsite 24x7 as needed.

Home residence centrally located in the Netherlands.

Willingness to travel for at least 80% (within Netherlands).

Driving license (B).
