Main Purpose of Job:

Provide automated systems installations/technical services

Main Activities and Duties: 

• Provide automated paint & dispense systems installation, commissioning and trouble-shooting activities at customer facilities


• Inspect and analyze malfunctioning equipment (mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems), document findings; determine source of problem and recommend repair, replacement or other corrective actions; coordinate problem resolution


• Coordination of subcontractors on job-site in union and non-union facilities


• Validation and production support of installed systems


• Interact with customers and SK personnel to establish goals and means to achieve these goals


• Prepare and communicate project progress reports on regular basis during different project phases


• Travel-up to 50%, domestically and internationally, often on short notice

Required Skills and Experience: 

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic schematics and layouts to ensure conformance to specifications & design


• Strong understanding of paint application technology


• Prefer experience in manufacturing / engineering environment


• Hands-on with mechanical, pneumatic and electrical equipment; measurement tools and techniques


• Ability to work assigned shifts / days / nights / weekends / holidays / overtime


• Up to 50% travel


• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office)
