The Service Manager has primary responsibility for managing Field Service Technicians and Supervisors. This includes planning and responding to day-to-day customer questions, requests and service needs. Work closely with Service leadership as an internal resource to the customer. Ensure customers are served quickly and courteously, ensure work orders are opened and closed accurately, and that the scheduling and repair process begins immediately. Work with technical, parts and administrative staffs to ensure that customers are 100% satisfied with the products that the company provides.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
REQUIRED:
- Ability to manage effective and efficient teams; successful experience working in a team setting
- Must possess excellent customer service, telephone, and typing skills
- Be computer literate, functional in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Have a detailed knowledge of all products supported by the company
- Be committed to a standard of excellence with information and services that the company provides to its customer
- Be well versed in supplier Warranty and Policy procedures
- Must possess excellent verbal and written English skills
- Possess and maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to meet deadlines and make critical decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities accordingly
- Flexible Team Player
