Finance Analyst Location: US-NY-Bronx Email this job to a friend

We have partnered with a large food distribution company in the Bronx, NY area to provide them with a Financial Analyst. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested. Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst: Maintain and improve daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly dashboards and reporting for sales, essential KPIs, and report on business trends. Maintain Forecast Vs Budget analysis Analyze KPI and metrics to identify trends and data-driven insights; provide recommendations to improve sales effectiveness. Develop and evolve key performance metrics to help drive productivity. Use business skills to deliver clear, concise, and actionable insights. Perform all regular and ad-hoc reporting requests and identify options for automation of reporting wherever possible. Further, develop and maintain a suite of performance dashboards in Tableau/PowerBI. Identify and develop opportunities for self-service analytics dashboards and reports wherever possible. Assist Finance / Accounting team members with completing monthly reporting, working with a cross-functional team to obtain all the necessary information, and ensuring that the final product is timely and accurate. Provide training to end-users on Tableau/PowerBI, processes, and best practices. Requirements of the Financial Analyst: - Strong business intelligence and data skills.
- 2-5 Years' experience in an analytical role is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or similar or equivalent work experience is required.
- Developing/delivering recommendations & summaries to key business partners at all levels.
- Expertise in BI tools (Tableau; PowerBI, DAX) is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel is required. Knowledge of vLookup, Pivot Table, and other basic formulas is a must.
- Experience with or working knowledge of SQL is preferred but not required.
- Organized, enjoys bringing daily rigor to projects, and reporting in a high-growth environment.
- Creative, problem-solver mentality with a knack for identifying areas for improvement and spearheading change.
