Responsibilities

As a Financial Manager at Geek Digital Consulting, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial department and ensuring its effective operation. Your duties will include:

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate all business operations pertaining to finance, aligning them with the company's objectives and goals.
Implement comprehensive financial policies, systems, and procedures to improve the performance of the establishment's finances.
Prepare accurate financial statements, summaries, cost-benefit analyses, and management reports for the CEO.
Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, analyzing and adjusting estimates meticulously to maximize resource allocation.
Develop and implement advanced financial simulation models to assist in decision-making and risk assessment.
Review accounting procedures, financial reporting systems, and investment activities, and make recommendations for procedural changes, system enhancements, and budgetary improvements to senior management.
Maintain profitability standards for investment activities, including the handling of acquisitions and mergers, so that risks are minimized and returns are maximized.
Analyze and report ongoing financial trends and critical indicators to senior management, enabling proactive decision-making on factors that could affect financial performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
3+ years experience as a Financial Manager or similar role.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

Work Location: 208-2633 Viking Way, Richmond, BC
Employment Type: Regular full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week
Compensation: $58 per hour, annual vacation
