Groundfloor is seeking a self-starting and motivated Financial Operations Associate to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will assist with the processing of loan information, the preparation of investment securities, and the publication of those securities to our retail investment platform. You will report to and receive hands-on guidance from the Financial Operations Manager as you learn about our unique business and help us adapt to scale. A successful Financial Operations Associate will be a problem solver with keen attention to detail, and a team player with a desire to contribute to the companys mission of creating a new category of individual real estate investments - accessible to everyone.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Facilitate the data transformation process of loan applications through closed loans
  • Assist with preparation and review of investment securities (LROs) for SEC qualification based on our regulatory requirements
  • Assist with the publication of securities to our investment platform
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of existing systems (i.e. Airtable)
  • Assist with special project initiatives
  • Collaborate with coworkers to further team success
  • Contribute to a collaborative and enjoyable work environment

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and up to 3 years of experience
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Advanced skills with Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Interest in investments, real estate, or finance a plus
  • Excited to work in a high-growth startup environment
