The Fire Sprinkler Helper is responsible for assisting the Fire Sprinkler Fitter with the installation, maintenance and repair of the fire sprinkler system. They must be a reliable individual who possesses the ability to work on a team and follow directions.

Job responsibilities:

• Working with the Fire Sprinkler Fitter to install fire sprinkler systems
• Cutting and grooving pipe to assist with installation
• Mechanical piping: being able to identify fittings, sizes and types of pipes
• Mechanical ability using hand and power tools
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times

Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to learn quickly and a desire to succeed
• Acknowledgement with taking direction and training from senior workers
• Desire for advancement
• Strong work ethic and hardworking attitude
• The ability to present themselves professionally, especially on job sites and in front of customers
• A basic understanding of piping systems components including pumps, valves, fittings, and pipe
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
• Plumbing experience preferred
• Must have valid driver's license and transportation to job sites
