Unifour Fire & Safety, a Southeastern leader in full-service fire protection inspections and repair, has an immediate opening for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Repair / Service Technician in the greater Charlotte area - Corporate office is located in Hickory, NC. Successful candidate will be self-starter with ability to work on their own as well as with others. Professional attitude with friendly customer service required. Wage based on experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler, standpipe, and fire pump systems.
Installation of pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plan and codes to properly protect building.
Read blueprints and/or working drawings to properly install, repair, and maintain systems
Organizes and prepares materials and equipment to be moved to and from the job site.
Communicating project, schedule and design changes to Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
Plan installation or repair to ensure that the customer is not adversely affected or restricted.
Documenting and reporting water damage, injuries, and/or accidents to Field Superintendent and General Manager immediately when an incident occurs.
Follows all safety rules and guidelines and ensures all co-workers are following the same.
Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
Position will require candidate to be placed on the emergency on-call rotation
Requirements
Must have basic knowledge of NFPA 13, 20, 24 & 25
Strong work ethic, professional attitude, honest & hard working
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Must be able to pass a criminal background check & drug screening
Must be able to lift heavy loads (Ladders, Power Machine, Hand Tools, Pipe, etc.)
Must be comfortable with heights, working on ladders or lifts, or in confined spaces.
High School diploma or equivalent
