Excellent communication skills Ready to work in 24*7 shifts Checkpoint CCSE or CCSA , preferred (at least 1 of the certifications is mandatory) Network Security - IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS, ISE, Cisco StealthWatch Network Management CA Spectrum, CA - Performance Center, Pandora FMS, Riverbed Net Profiler, Policy Center & Steelhead Center, Provider-1 (Checkpoint), Panorama (Palo Alto), Bluecoat Management system for SSL Devices, HPOV, NNM, SolarWinds, ORION etc. Experience with Tufin Security Policy Management, Imperva (WAF) tools Azure & Google Cloud Platform Basic Scripting Python/PowerShell/Bash Tasks and Responsibilities Advanced Knowledge on Firewall platforms (Checkpoint, PA and Cisco) running routing protocols and next gen features sure as IPS and Application detection rules Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting Firewall deployment/configuration experience and troubleshooting application connectivity Strong understanding of general networking and design (Firewalls, Routing, Load Balancing, OSI Model, TCP/IP, Packet trace and analysis) Understanding of SMTP (RFC 821/5321), TLS, DNS and related standards Arranging scheduled upgrades Investigate and help resolve issues on customer s network and IT estates using agreed troubleshooting methodologies Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases Remote configuration troubleshooting Attend SWAT calls and Crit Sit calls as required Assist with defining the scope of each applicable project Manage project implementation Coordinate downtime window(s) Identify existing active devices requiring OS upgrades for project and perform upgrades Reporting network security status to key stakeholders Proven experience in incident management, service request management and problem solving Scripting skills (Perl/ Python/ Shell) Design, Architecture and Maintenance of Cloud Platform Security components such as virtual firewalls in Azure and GCP Working on Basic scripting to push configuration to cloud platforms
