We are currently hiring a Fitness Specialist to join our National Lutheran Communities & Services family. The main focus for this role will be to provide an ongoing comprehensive fitness program of activities to meet the needs and interests of our residents. This may include planning and implementing classes, one-on-one sessions and coordinating with other departments. This position must exemplify the community philosophy and vision of wellness, supporting annual plans and goals. You will have a high level of resident interaction and will strive to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.
Part-Time Schedule:
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 8am-2pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am-4pm
Requirements
You will need a national fitness certification from an accredited organization as a group exercise instructor or personal trainer. You will also need previous experience in leading group fitness classes, preferably with a geriatric population.
