Romano Ford has an immediate need for an experienced Express, Tire & lubrication technician that possesses a New York State inspector license, has their own tools to perform the job requirements and has a minimum of 18 months experience.

Candidate would currently have experience at a Valvoline, Mavis, Walmart, Wholesale clubs (Costco or BJ's or Sam's), Firestone or Goodyear.

This is also an opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a certified dealership Ford Technician with paid Ford training by the Dealership.

Express Tire/Lube Tech requirements:

• *At least 18 Months experience working as an Express Service, Tire, or Oil Change technician

• New York State Inspectors License

• Own tools


• Valid New York State Drivers' License and clean driving record


• High school diploma or equivalent

Express Tire/Lube Tech job responsibilities include:

• Efficiently perform work as specified on repair orders to factory and dealership standards


• Document all work performed


• Communicate with Parts department to obtain needed parts


• Inspect vehicles to determine if any additional safety or service repairs need to be made


• Communicate with Service Director and Advisors regarding status of repairs or additional needed repairs


• Road test customer vehicles as needed


• Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean, undamaged, and with personal convenience, comfort, and audio settings intact.


• Maintain cleanliness of shop area and service bay


• Adhering to scheduled hours
