You must have experience and enjoy working with preschool age children in outdoor settings. You are able to well represent the Nature Center, liaise with parents and help to bridge students to programs. Willing as a Team Member to develop meaningful classes and curricula. Favorable to hiking, shelter-building, child yoga, morning meetings, ecology, experiments, animal behavior and care, literacy and counting/sorting, dancing/singing, storytelling and various other STEAM activities.
Requirements
You are able to teach age-appropriate subjects on a preschool level. Employ an interdisciplinary approach supporting basic life skills and early academic foundations while inspiring self-discovery/ self-actualization as much as sociability with peers and near peers.
As a prospective teacher you are able to demonstrate a track record to validate your teacher development (through work experience) and essential schooling (degrees). A bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree can be a big plus(link removed)
Benefits
Pay is hourly, $18 - $27/hour, depending upon Teacher Experience and Educational Level.
Depending upon your availability contributions may range between 4 -20 hours per week.
