Givens is Driven To Deliver - both for our customers and our employees. Since 1957 Givens has provided customers a single source solution for warehouse, distribution, transportation, packing and crating and air freight services. While we have only been in the Reno area for one year our operation is growing and we have an urgent need for a Forklift Operator II. As a Forklift Operator II you will be responsible for receiving, loading and unloading 53 trailers, flatbeds and containers as well as preparing inventory for shipping. You will help with warehouse operations to satisfy customer expectations and meet company goals.

• Unload material to warehouse dock and put away product to proper locations
• Identify damaged product or shortages and report to appropriate personnel
• Properly use RF scanners
• Able to stack product three high
• Pull material from location for shipping
• Load outbound trucks
• Operate various types of equipment to include but not limited to picker, stand up lift and electric lifts
• Shrink wrap pallets
• Set up new items
• Meet on time performance metrics
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Basic math skills necessary
• Comply with policies/procedures including established safety procedures
• Attention to detail
• Valid forklift certificate
• Excellent hand eye coordination
• Good communication, time management and organizational skills
• Works well under pressure in fast paced environment
