Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Manage the Supply Chain finance activities related to auditing process of logistics costs and transport claims management. You will optimize operations across the functions and businesses, securing accuracy of invoicing process, transport claims compliance as well as control and driving cost optimization initiatives.


You are responsible for

Managing a Team of Transport Specialists and Cost Controllers
Managing invoice disputes and escalation process, in case transportation invoices are not in line with Philips requirements
Managing transport claims process to ensure right statements
Supporting management reporting on Freight & Audit and Claims processes
Driving efficient daily management team meetings to manage Freight Audit & Claims process
Cooperation with transport management on the future implementation of the freight audit & pay strategy and pre-billing solutions and minimalizing transport claims impact on financial results of the Company
Driving auditing and claims processes improvements
Implementation and leading global logistics processes standardization


You will be a part of

Philips Transport Control Tower, located in GBS Lodz.


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Bachelors degree in supply chain with focus on Logistics, Transportation or Finance.
Previous relevant experience (3-5 years) in logistics or finance
Evidence of excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and within the service providers
Good working knowledge of MS office applications with expert level for MS EXCEL/Access
Knowledge of SAP and TMS System will be an asset
Fluent level of English
