Position Summary The Front Desk Associate’s (FDA’s) objective is to help the club increase recurring membership EFT while ensuring the highest level of service for Fit Republic members, with a focus on retention, by performing a variety of administrative and operational duties. FDA duties include greeting, assisting and directing members, guests, potential members, staff and vendors as they enter or call the gym. The FDA’s responsibilities for customer service and sales includes enrollment of new members through employee generated and company-sponsored programs, promotions and referrals. The FDA is also responsible for supporting potential members in fulfilling their fitness goals.

 



Major Responsibilities




  • Maximize sales of new memberships and retention of current members




  • Responsible for production of a minimum of 25 new member units (NMUs) per month




  • Responsible for generating employee-sponsored leads




  • Responsible for making outbound calls, as needed, using company-provided call lists, including, prospect calls, new member welcome calls, past due balance calls, renewal calls, appointment confirmations, etc.




  • Responsible for partnering new members with FIIT Nation Group Personal Training




  • Greets and checks in all members as they enter the gym




  • Answers the telephone using the correct greeting and assists callers as needed




  • Assists members and potential members with all inquiries




  • Maintains a neat and clean facility, with other cleaning duties as assigned




  • Ensures that front desk procedures are followed such as checking in members, responding to telephone requests for assistance, registering guests and obtaining waivers, replacing member identification cards, responding to delinquent accounts and requests to change account, including termination of membership




  • Provide a superior level of customer service to members and guests




  • Perform a variety of duties including filing paperwork, leading walkthroughs (“quick look arounds” or QLAs) of the facility or any other duties as assigned




  • Lead facility tours to members, potential member and guests




  • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications and Requirements




  • Passionate about people. Passionate about fitness




  • Ambition, drive, honesty, enthusiasm, energy, personal integrity and a passion for the fitness industry




  • 1+ years of customer service experience and 1+ years of sales experience




  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills




  • Computer literacy




  • Evening and weekends hours are required




  • Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a related field preferred




  • Certified for automated external defibrillator (AED) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)



Job Type: Part-time



Salary: $13.00 /hour
