Hourly Rate: $55 W2; $63 CTC/1099
Job Description:
The Iowa Dept of Education needs a full-stack .net developer with strong hands-on experience with back-end tools.
This candidate will be working with the latest .net technologies and different third-party tools to build a new application to replace and automate the existing data collection that currently uses word and excel templates. Replace this manual system with an efficient, secure and improved application. This is an education, mission-focused solutions supporting Iowa educational institutions and student wellbeing.
This contractor will be working independently on this project under the project manager and Team leads. The contractor will be collaborating with other team members for data sharing and accessing existing services and APIs of the department. The contractor will be a part of the development team during this work, taking part in regular team check-ins and collaboration opportunities.
Technical Environment:
Visual Studio 2019, MS Sql Server, TFS
Tools and Technologies:
C#, Javascript, Html, Css, Bootstrap, Bootswatch
Technical Stack Requirements:
4 plus year experience in C# development
4 plus years experience in .net projects
4 plus years experience in asp.net/ MVC web development using C#
4 plus years experience in working with MSSQL Server
Hands on experience with javascript and Jquery
Required Skills:
- Programming using Visual Studio, C#.NET, MVC, SQL Server and strong OOP concepts (4 years)
- Testing changes in local, development, and user acceptance environments. (4 years)
- Design and develop MS SQL database supporting applications. Optimize queries, stored procedures, etc. (4 years)
- Design and format basic front end elements using Javascript, Html, Css, Bootstrap, and similar tools. (4 years)
