Responsibilities
The Crew Compliance product team, part of Vanguard IT's support for the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), is currently seeking a software developer for an exciting opportunity! Crew Compliance provides OGC with the capability to monitor and manage the following:
Ensuring Vanguard crew are licensed in compliance with federal regulations, i.e. FINRA
Tracking crew completion of mandatory Code of Ethics training
Guaranteeing customer complaints are recorded, tracked, researched, resolved, and archived.
Qualifications
This product is currently undergoing a modernization effort, to take advantage of the latest cloud technology. We're looking for a full-stack developer candidate with the following skills:
Skilled in Typescript, Angular, node.js, Nest, HTML, Style Sheet
Strong understanding of SQL and Postgres databases and related APIs, query techniques, etc.
Someone with AWS and related cloud experience such as EC2, S3, Athena, and Lambda
Experience with Python
Understanding of Docker and/or related containers
Automated E2E testing experience (Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
Experience with the Visual Studio IDE, Bamboo, Git, and BitBucket
Independent thinker: someone who can take initiative and hit the ground running.
Good communicator; can explain complex technical issues to peers and the uninitiated.
