We need a super-smart, experienced Mid-Senior level full-stack engineer to help improve the scalability of our trading technology, improve reliability and performance of the platforms we’ve already built, and build and test new technologies across asset classes (stocks, futures, forex, bitcoin). Household name brokerages will be utilizing the software that you will build and test.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with current head developer to understand every aspect of both front-end framework and back-end trading logic


• Update trading logic to support massive scaling with the launch of blue-chip stock brokerage partner


• Update front-end portal design with direction from the design team and management


• Support current head developer and QA Automation Engineer to build automated end-to-end and unit tests for existing and new code.


• Update platform to comply with Security requirements and compliance framework (tbd)


• Develop diagnostic tools, processes, and methods to identify and reproduce defects in the Echo Trading platform as a result of extensive and automated testing


• Work cooperatively and complementary to and with other team members and executives


• Perform manual testing of new features of the Echo Trading services and/or web-based applications as needed.


• Support roadmap and prioritization discussions through development of test plans and estimates

Education, Skills, Experience:

• 7+ years of relevant work experience


• BS in Computer Science


• Experience with Windows, Windows Server, and .NET development environment


• Proficiency with relevant programming and scripting languages (e.g. Python, C#, Java, PowerShell)


• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server database and developing T-SQL scripts to support manual and automated testing (*Primarily handled by QA Automation engineer, but supported by full-stack engineer)


• Experience with client-side web technologies and frameworks (e.g. HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular.js)


• Experience being a highly productive member of a team, using agile processes and tools


• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills


• Strong written and spoken communication skills


• Ability to focus on completing high priority items while avoiding distractions


• Self-directed and result-oriented
