Position Overview
The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care while centering the holistic needs of our patients. Educating a diverse range of patients and their support systems is a major focus of this position and occurs in a variety of formal and informal settings. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for initiating provider orders using clinical judgment in a high-volume outpatient procedural clinic setting including a particular focus on patient pre-operative preparation, intraoperative administration of conscious sedation and patient monitoring, as well as monitoring of post-operative care. The Registered Nurse will work in a diverse patient and staff environment and will assist in quality assurance/improvement programs to address healthcare disparities.
