As a Fullstack Java Developer with AWS, you will work on a variety of projects focusing on designing and implementing advanced solutions in IT governance, security, data management, and compliance. At tekHouse, we address IT security and privacy issues and deploy customized application and data management structures that not only solve problems, but add value to organizations. Responsibilities: Work with business owners and product managers to design new applications and re-factor legacy applications into cloud-based applications Build, test, deploy, and document complex software components for one or more areas (subsystems) for a larger system or multiple areas (subsystems) for smaller systems as well as, help others with theirs. Interface with other team members and other teams in peer review of requirements, specifications, and software. Provide feedback on processes by offering suggestions Must be able to become the technical go-to resource for multiple applications RequirementsRequirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least seven (10) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience; 8+ years core Java development. 5+ years of professional development experience using AWS serverless architecture. Demonstrated expertise in creating, configuring and programming AWS Lambda Demonstrated experience developing a database model from an object model Demonstrated expertise in reading from/writing to S3 and SQS/SNS Demonstrated expertise with CloudWatch Demonstrated technical expertise in Spring Boot development Demonstrated technical expertise in hibernate development Demonstrated expertise in threading Demonstrated experience developing applications in a micro-services architecture Demonstrated technical expertise in database technologies including advanced SQL querying which resulted in deployment of enterprise quality solutions. Demonstrated technical expertise in Object Oriented Analysis/Design/Programming Experience with SysAdmin/DevOps tasks utilizing AWS, including creating/maintaining EC2 instances, Lambda functions, SQS etc. Past experience with developing enterprise quality solutions in an iterative or Agile environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
