Salary: $ 85,000.00 We have partnered with a large Health Insurance company in the Newtown Square, PA area to provide them with a GAAP Financial Reporting Analyst. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested. Prioritized Must Have Skills for the GAAP Financial Reporting Analyst: #1. Bachelors required Accounting #2. Public Accounting Experience #3. Solid understanding of US GAAP #4. Healthcare Industry experience Responsibilities of the GAAP Financial Reporting Analyst: Responsible for preparing the monthly internal financial statements, as well as the monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external financial statements/reports, and supporting the financial reporting process during month end close. Responsibilities including, but not limited to: Preparing and validating financial statements and various management reports Supporting the financial reporting process during month end and year end close Maintaining Hyperion/Oracle books and reports Preparing audited annual financial statements, reports, related disclosures, and footnotes (GAAP, OCBOA, pension and 401(k) plans). Identifying process inefficiencies, recommending efficient process alternatives, and facilitating implementation of such process improvements. Requirements of the GAAP Financial Reporting Analyst: - Bachelor's Degree required - Accounting preferred.
- CPA preferred or in process.
- Solid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the application thereof.
- Exposure to the preparation of financial statements.
- Exposure to the preparation of annual audited financial statements, reports, related disclosures, and footnotes preferred.
- Experience with Blackline, PeopleSoft, Hyperion/Oracle or similar ERP system preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Workiva or similar system preferred.
- 1 to 2 years experience.
- Healthcare Industry experience preferred.
- Employees are required to be fully COVID vaccinated.
Other Key Requirements: - Will require on site presence a few days/week at the Newtown Square, PA location
- No sponsorship or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
