Hardware Integration Support Engineer
onsite

Education and Experience Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering with 5 to 10 years experience. Hardware Design Experience is desired.

Job description

1. MyWorkshop experience preferred if possible If not, someone who is good at learning new software programs
2. Great organizational skills They will need to be able to track progress through completion on several hundred parts and be able to communicate progress, action owners and road blocks.
3. Good communication/interpersonal skills as this person will help follow up with different approvals to close out on release routes for the engineering team
4. Quick learner and someone who is willing to jump in on many different types of projects
5. HW Engineering background preferred, but not required Mechanical preferred over Electrical


Duties
Working with our Suppliers to obtain all RoHS documentation for new parts planned for release
Gathering objective evidence to support parts release through predefined checklists.
Tracking and maintaining a database to ensure that parts are released per schedule.
Work with the integrated supply chain to ensure all manufacturing inputs are obtained in a timely fashion.
Track and maintain compliance requirements, such as RoHS, Critical Suppliers, WEEE, Packaging Validation, ITS Codes, etc.
Follow up with reviews/approvers for parts release and document release.
Track and maintain hardware in bays to support verification and validation activities. Buying replacement parts, scheduling hardware installation, ensuring hardware meets requirements for V&V, etc.
