Requirements

GL Accountant: This is where you come in.

Were looking for a GL Accountant to be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, all monthly balance sheet reconciliations, weekly cash forecasts, and periodic commission calculations and processing. You will be expected to meet performance standards set by management and to comply with all company policies and procedures. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

• Ensure that the Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts are reconciled and reported with 100% accuracy.
• Reconcile and/or correct all discrepancies within 24 hours of discovery.
• Ensure supporting documentation for the financial statements is documented with 100% accuracy including daily cash reports, records daily cash transactions, and month-end bank reconciliations.

The GL Accountant role reports to Jamin Olmstead Controller on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have

• A track record of facilitating all corporate tax and licensing (state and interstate) activities
• Unquestionable Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• A Bachelors in Accounting or Finance is required.

Benefits

Compensation: $30-$41/hr
