Job Description:

The individual will work in the Global Liquidity Management (GLM) team within the Our Client Treasury Global Function. The team is responsible for establishing the framework for sizing liquidity requirements including internal stress testing framework, developing contingency funding plans in conjunction with other stakeholders within and outside Our Client Treasury, providing liquidity oversight to Our Clients global entities, and ensuring that Our Client maintains adequate liquidity appropriately positioned to meet the companys global needs both in normal market conditions as well as during periods of stress.
In this role, the individual will be responsible for supporting and strengthening the governance framework of GLM and enabling line of sight into projects and enhancements relating to but not limited to liquidity reporting, analytics, metrics, stress tests, limits, triggers, liquidity data and intraday liquidity. The individual will perform such duties as (1) developing, implementing and maintaining the control framework over the full spectrum of GLM, including the Managers Control Assessment (MCA); (2) building out and maintaining tactical and strategic governance frameworks for stress tests and other main liquidity reports; (3) project managing and performing certain liquidity committee and council coordination responsibilities; and (4) ensuring GLM processes are in alignment with firm-wide policies.

Additionally, the individual in this role may selectively lead initiatives to streamline and standardize liquidity processes by performing detailed deep-dive reviews with stakeholders. Collectively, this will require strong collaboration and engagement with internal partners across Treasury, Finance & Risk Shared Services (FRSS), Liquidity Risk Management (LRM), Operational Risk Management and various


Key Objectives:


Understand Our Clients internal and external liquidity metrics and consolidated liquidity reporting requirements so that individual is able to effectively support the governance and control framework over liquidity reporting and analytics. Understand at a high level Our Clients global liquidity reporting requirements and controls to ensure consistency at the consolidated level.


Specialized Skills:


The ideal candidate should possess an eagerness to learn the current liquidity processes and liquidity metrics, be a change-agent to effectively recommend and implement enhancements and help the broader GLM team execute towards the target state. To be successful in this role, the individual needs to be a self-starter with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively collaborate across different levels in the organization and across functions and be eager to make an impact. Existing knowledge of basic balance sheet products, off-balance sheet products, liquidity, controls, Our Clients firm-wide system and data architecture and project management are desirable.


Development Opportunities:


This role gives the individual a unique opportunity to gain exposure to Our Clients balance sheet and legal entities and to develop an understanding of liquidity management processes. Further the individual will develop an understanding of various internal liquidity stress metrics such as RLAP and the new TLST (formerly S2) as well as regulatory liquidity requirements such as FR 2052a, US LCR and US NSFR.


Qualifications:


A bachelor degree in economics, finance, accounting or related fields; advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in one or more of Treasury, Finance, Risk Management, Chief Data Office or Project Management disciplines, preferably with some level of prior exposure to:
o Liquidity Risk Management and Analytics
o Banking, Capital Markets and / or Treasury product knowledge
Strong quantitative and presentation skills, with attention to detail and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Highly organized and structured
Excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Willingness to take ownership and execute on deliverables.
Strong but diplomatic communication skills
Team player with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, high energy environment.
