• Clean the construction site before the general crew is supposed to arrive, eliminating any debris that could pose potential hazards
• Unload materials from trucks and place them at the proper location on the site; distribute materials to contractors
• Perform numerous types of manual labor
• Maintain all pieces of equipment by routinely inspecting machinery and making sure batteries are charged.
• Provide any assistance to the contractors when asked
• Conduct inspections once a project is complete and walk through the premises of the construction site to ensure everything meets the desired specifications before showing it to the owner of JMM
• Assist specialty craft workers, such as plumbers and painters, with any tasks they might need.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools
• Assist with the operation of heavy machinery
• Complete many different construction tasks, including drilling, painting, erecting scaffolding, and moving materials from one place to another.
• Follow all local, state, and federal health and safety standards
• Commit to continually improving your skills through on-the-job training

Requirements

This can be a full-time position as we do need someone to help run jobs full time while the owner of the company is at other jobs. You will need to ensure all hours stay within budget, all employees are working and getting things done in a timely and professional manner, you should be able to jump in and be hands on as this isn't just to supervise. This is a 1099 for now until work picks up and we can hire more people. Pay is $15-$30 depending on skills/experience. We have a strict policy do not smoke on the customers property and no alcohol. If you smell like it, you will be sent home. We need reliable people who want to work and not just sit around and watch.
