Our client is seeking a geologist/environmental scientist with 5-10 years of experience.  We are seeking a motivated “A-Player” who could immediately begin contributing to Shield’s vision and growth.  The candidate should be a well-rounded professional who has deep consulting experience in the various NC and SC environmental regulatory programs relating to Assessment and Remediation as well as Phase I/II for property transactions. 

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills who has a track record for developing loyal clients.  He or she must have a strong desire and ability to bring in new work and grow a portfolio of projects.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed professional geologist or is within one year of obtaining licensure in NC and SC.   

This position will be charged with developing new business and creating long last relationships with clients.

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related science


• Excellent interpersonal skills and writing ability


• Experienced in project and portfolio management
