Global Internal Communications Manager


As a Global Communications Manager, within Operations & Technology (O&T), you will be a partner with the Global leadership team and functions, advising on and building internal communications strategies to support the O&T business strategy and priorities.

Operations & Technology (O&T), ~10,000 colleagues globally, designs and delivers market leading services and technology to colleagues and clients around the world from, administration, consumer exchanges and service centre organizations.
We are also home to the Mercer Digital, Transformation and Change organizations partnering with the practices and functions to operate as 'one Mercer', accelerating the execution of our strategic priorities, enhancing our core business and connecting innovation to the needs of our clients and colleagues. What can you expect?


Deliver strategic communications aligned to Mercers global strategy and O&Ts strategic priorities.

Advise and support local andbusiness strategic messaging.

Support Mercers strategic transformation agenda through clear and timely communications, utilizing theappropriate information sources and channels.

In addition, this role will be responsible for the management of the O&Tcommunications plan, ensuring that the team prioritizes key communicationactivities and that these are recorded and aligned to the Global InternalCommunication Calendar.

Supporting and advising practices and functions on key projects and campaigns aimed for the wider O&T community.

We will count on you to:


Plan and implement effective employee communication programs that supportMercers strategic priorities.

Partner closely with global leadership develop relationships to effectively deliver ona clear set objectives.

Support the organizations transformation, change and digital journey through thedevelopment and delivery of innovative, strategic communications programs.

Work collaboratively across the Global Communications COE, balancing globalstrategies with effective delivery in region and country.

Engage in proactive knowledge and best practice sharing across the communicationsfunction.

Team planning and operating rhythm - responsible for the upkeep of the O&TCommunication Plan as well as track and measure the delivery and impact ofemployee communications and campaigns.


What you need to have:


Bachelors degree or advanced degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or related experience.

Knowledge of change management with a specialism/focus on communications.

Solid hands-on work experience in strategic communications, change communications, change management or related field.

Excellent verbal communication skills; confident and engaging, with strong presentation skills.

Excellent written skills, with the ability to simplify the complex and tailor content for different purposes, making it relevant to different audiences, and for delivery across a variety of channels.

Experience of managing a variety of stakeholders.

Proficiency in English.
