Job DescriptionAIMEE International School is committed to providing a comprehensive and globally-minded education. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced educator for the role of Global Perspective Teacher for elementary grades. This position aims to foster an understanding of global issues, diverse cultures, and interconnectivity from the earliest stages of education. Responsibilities Curriculum Implementation: Implement a dynamic and engaging Global Perspective curriculum for elementary grades. Introduce young learners to key global issues, cultural diversity, and the interconnectedness of the world. Instructional Facilitation: Conduct interactive and thought-provoking Global Perspectives lessons, catering to diverse learning styles. Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions, projects, and hands-on activities. Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments in line with curriculum requirements. Provide timely and constructive feedback. to students and parents regarding academic progress. Current Affairs Integration: Introduce global events in an age-appropriate manner and integrate them into the curriculum. Facilitate discussions and projects that connect classroom learning to real-world issues at a level suitable for different grades. Technology Integration: Utilise age-appropriate technology tools to enhance the exploration of global perspectives. Integrate digital resources and virtual experiences suitable for students to broaden their understanding of the world. Qualifications A bachelors degree in Education, International Relations, or a related field. A teaching qualification is preferred. Proven experience in teaching with a focus on global perspectives, preferably at the elementary school level. Familiarity with inquiry-based teaching methodologies and cross-cultural education at the elementary level. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Creative and adaptable to create an inspiring and inclusive learning environment for students. Committed to preparing students to become informed and responsible global citizens.
