As the Global Privacy Program Manager at Ansys, you will play a critical role in implementing data compliance projects and practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams that include Legal, IT, Cyber, Data Management, HR, and business operations. The ideal candidate will be an effective project manager that possesses an ability to oversee and organize multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines, be a strong relationship-builder, and a clear communicator. Key Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for facilitating the execution of day-to-day data compliance program activities.
Provides program and project management, including the development and maintenance of program(s) metrics and reporting.
Oversees various compliance initiatives, documentation and conducts change management in furtherance of global privacy compliance, including compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), CCPA, DSL, CSL, PIPL and other regional privacy laws.
Understands and utilizes complex privacy and data protection concepts when conducting activities.
Assists manager with designing and implementing regulatory compliance and privacy strategies; immediately focusing on maintaining existing data compliance processes.
Communicates privacy and compliance requirements to key stakeholders, across different business units and provides guidance and partnership for implementation.
Assists with the implementation of standards and controls relating to data usage, governance, retention and sharing, and ensuring that privacy and other forms of compliance are built-in to existing business processes or new processes are created.
Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with the Legal team, Works Councils, IT, Cyber Security, Third Party Risk Management, Marketing, and all necessary business units, to ensure alignment between security, privacy and compliance practices/policies.
Liaises with various stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of privacy initiatives and issues remediation; leads and documents meetings with stakeholders; and escalates issues to management as needed.
Receives various inputs and artifacts from all business units, analyzes, and identifies gaps and/or new compliance opportunities, and understands the business and culture to include such inputs in the development, deployment and sustainability of an effective privacy and governance program.


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

Bachelors degree in relevant field
5+ years of relevant program/project management experience; preferably on a global scale
2+ years of data privacy, data governance, data compliance, cyber, or related field
Demonstrates both collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team, while completing tasks and projects autonomously
Ability to self-organize, prioritize, and identify new work
Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational and presentations skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, developing, and deadline-oriented


Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Masters degree preferred
Privacy Professional Certification (International Association of Privacy Professionals)
Lean Six Sigma
