ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Governance and Policy Development Support Mission Advocate to join our team. As a Governance and Policy Development Support Mission Advocate at ARETUM, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients by developing and implementing effective governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of governance and policy documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Review and assess existing policies and procedures, identify areas for improvement, and recommend changes.
  • Support the communication and training of governance and policy requirements to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of governance and policy frameworks, identify gaps or areas of non-compliance, and propose solutions or corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in governance and policy development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in governance, policy development, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in researching, analyzing, and writing governance and policy documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in governance and policy documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address gaps or areas of improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience in the government contracting or related industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
