The XXX Spark content team is looking for a seasoned art director that can lead the template design process and scale our most mission-critical content type. Templates come in a myriad of shapes and sizes from posters, to resumes, Instagram stories and logos and are critical to enabling creator's success and empowering them with creative confidence.
You will help set the standards, design playbooks, give design feedback and keep the template creators inspired to create world-class graphic design starting points for our German users.
Your background
You are a lover of the interplay between written and visual language. Your past experience in German, English, writing, or managing content across global geographies make you the ideal candidate for this role. You will be the primary person responsible for taking XXX Spark's content to our German market by reviewing German text and designs, and publishing those designs to our German user base. You can deal with a lot of information volume and the inherent complexity in high-volume content creation and publishing.
Must-haves
Ensure high quality production of graphic design, staying on top of current design trends and adding optimal value to for our template library
Experience leading content efforts on a team within a large, diverse organization
Ability to develop standards and review and provide feedback against them
Mentor and provide developmental support to junior designers to ensure the team is set up for success to reach production design targets
The ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects at a time
Extraordinary visual design and communication skills, and a sharp attention to detail
Ability to present and share your ideas, influence decisions and create
5+ years of experience in graphic design, branding or social campaign creation
Experience with content management systems and a managed taxonomy
Nice-to-haves
Experience with, and a point of view on, creative tooling and social media with a strong passion for the creative potential in everyone
Has experience and interest in working content strategy efforts in a product that can meet millions of creators around the globe, while staying true to the design origins XXX is known for
