Full Job Description There are plenty of good Graphic Designers out there, but not all of them have that unique ability to utilize InDesign, PowerPoint, and Word to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate, creating cohesion across materials regardless of what type of software they usedthe ability to craft visual communications ranging from logos to PowerPoint presentations and everything in between. As a Graphic Designer, you will: - Support public and private sector clients who tackle issues like HIV/AIDS, disaster preparedness, climate change, child welfare, energy efficiency and more.
- Produce digital and print materials, including social media graphics, fact sheets, PPT templates, Word templates, infographics, complex diagrams, and publications.
- Collaborate with art directors, writers, editors, and 508 remediation specialists.
- Work with production personnel, providing input and instruction required to complete the production of approved designs.
- Make deadline. Seems obvious, but its kind of a thing here.
As a Graphic Designer, you will have: Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years experience as a graphic designer, preferably within an agency environment.
- A bachelors degree in visual communications or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and MS Office (PPT and Word).
Professional Skills: - Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
- Maintain close attention to design details and project requirements.
- Adapt to feedback and offer creative guidance as needed.
Job Location(s): Reston, VA; Rockville, MD; or Remote. This Position requires Individual to reside and work within the continental United States due to contract requirements. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $51,333.00 - $87,267.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
